She looks vulnerable or frightened and very attrctive. In this respect she reminds us of some of Marilyn Monroe photos such as when she couldn't sleep, looking very vulnerable, needing help. She looks young, only about 22 years old.
The unsettled state is emphasised by the unusual angle of the picture, it is she if defying gravity, slanting at nearly 45 degrees from top right to bottom left where she is "clasping" her hands on the arm of the arm chair. (Her hands on closer inspection are actually only touching.) The greyish and whitish background is not clear, and is out of focus.
